Facelift
Facelift surgery can give many people the youthful appearance they desire. The procedure involves tightening of facial tissues and the removal of excess skin. Often a facelift is done in conjunction with other facial cosmetic surgeries such as brow and forehead lift, blepharoplasty, chin augmentation, liposuction, and nose reshaping. A facelift is frequently performed in patients who are 40 to 60 years old, but can be performed any time to address unwanted signs of aging.
Brow Lift
Brow lift surgery elevates a sagging brow, while correcting frown lines and other age-related imperfections. The surgery is done on an outpatient basis under local IV sedation. Several short incisions are placed in the hairline, and Dr. Edds uses an endoscope to complete the procedure with small incisions. The forehead skin is lifted and repositioned, and the muscles that cause frown lines are intentionally weakened.
Ear Pinning
Prominent or protruding ears can be a source of embarrassment for many people, especially children. During the past few decades, thousands of people have been helped through a procedure called otoplasty. Otoplasty, sometimes described as pinning back the ears, is designed to change ear shape and position. It may be performed on anyone over the age of five or six years old, the age at which ear growth is almost complete.
Eyelid Surgery
Eyelid surgery can correct sagging eyelids, fatty pouches beneath the eyes and loose skin folds around the eyes. This surgical procedure involves the removal of excess skin and fat on upper and lower eyelids and is often done in conjunction with other surgical procedures including facelift, eyebrow and forehead lift.
Weekend Facelift
Our Weekend Facelift involves, liposculpture of the neck and lower face, combined with a laser procedure to tighten the skin and muscles under the jawline. The procedure can help you regain a sleeker, more youthful appearance. Many patients appear thinner after the Weekend Facelift because the fullness in the jowls and the neck is markedly decreased. Performed as a comfortable outpatient procedure, many patients who undergo the Weekend Facelift on a Thursday or Friday can be back to work on Monday.
